Election Night at George's

The Presidential Election of 2008 will go down in history, and I was lucky enough to be a part of that history. On November 4, 2008 my friend and I went to George's in LBJ to anxiously await the results of the election. It was very exciting. The restaurant was packed with people playing pool, ping pong, and chattering about the election. KTSW ran coverage the entire night, and CNN was broadcast on the big screen. Every time a candidate won a state, the crowd burst into cheers. My friend and I took to cheering for everything, simply because we were so excited to have voted in this election. It was definitely an exciting night that I will remember for the rest of my life.
