The Quad: ASA Eggroll Sale

On Wednesday, November 19th and Monday, December 1st, the Asian Student Association (ASA) had a fund raiser in the Quad.  I, along with several of the members, sold eggrolls, crab puffs, green tea, chai tea, and all sorts of Asian snacks.  All the food was made by ASA members, and the eggrolls and crab puffs were deep fried out in the Quad.  Cooking them out there was definitely a good idea since its smell brought more people to our table.  At the time that I helped, it was the peak time of students going from class to class so it was interesting to see so many different people in the Quad at one time.  The picture above shows me, along with Vincent, our vice president, and some of the other ASA members, serving some eggrolls to a fellow student.  Overall, the sales were rather successful and more will be planned for the coming semesters.  All the money raised from the fund raiser goes towards the expenses for the Lunar Festival that ASA will be hosting next semester.
